Dan Martinez received his Bachelor's Degree cum laude from the University of East Carolina in 1991, and his J.D. cum laude from Stetson University College of Law in 1994. He is a member of the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of the United States.

Mr. Martinez' practice includes general civil litigation, medical malpractice, personal injury, nursing home, insurance and casualty. His publications and speeches span a broad variety of topics from Insurance Bad Faith to collateral source set-offs in multi-party litigation.

His articles have been cited by the appellate courts and he is approved by the Department of Insurance to provide insurance professionals with training and seminars for continuing education credit. He has been invited as a guest lecturer for trial practice and advocacy at Stetson University College of Law and speaks at national level seminars across the country.

Mr. Martinez was distinguished as one of the Tampa Bay area's "40 Under 40" which identified forty individuals under the age of forty whom had excelled in their professions to a level that merited distinction.
